2008 TREWA Scholarship Recipients

 

 Jessica Bailey and her family are from Georgetown and are members of Pedernales Electric Cooperative and TREWA.  Jessica will be attending Howard Payne University this fall where she will be a biology/pre-med major.  She will specialize in pediatrics and oncology.

Rachel Bates resides with her family in Gatesville where they are members of Hamilton County Electric Cooperative and TREWA.  Rachel has graduated with honors from home school and plans to attend Mary-Hardin Baylor.  She will then attend Dallas College of Dentistry to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.

Emily Bohmfalk is currently a junior at Texas A&M University.  Emily is studying English and Professional Writing with a minor in Spanish and plans to follow her undergraduate studies with law school.  Emily’s family are members of Wise County Electric and TREWA.

Holly Gilchrist and her parents are from Montgomery and are members of Mid South Synergy and TREWA.  Holly has a deep interest in the banking industry and will attend Sam Houston State University to pursue a Business Administration degree.

Meghann Hambright and her parents are members of North Plains Electric Cooperative and TREWA and make their home in Pampa.  She will be attending Oklahoma State University to acquire a marketing degree with a minor in public relations and plans a career in fashion retail.

Andrew Jones is from Shallowater.  He and his family are members of South Plains Electric Cooperative and TREWA.  Andrew will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall where he will be preparing to become a dentist and his goal is to open his own dentistry or orthodontia practice.

Jordan Payne and his parents are members of South Plains Electric Cooperative and TREWA and reside in Idalou.  His goals include a career in Agricultural Banking and Finance.  To achieve this goal he will attend Abilene Christian University  and major in Agricultural Business Management.

Francisco Saenz and his parents are residents of Cotton Center and members of South Plains Electric Cooperative and TREWA.  Francisco will begin his college education at South Plains College and then graduate from Texas Tech University with an engineering degree.

Alayna Siebman is a junior at Wayland Baptist University where she plans to obtain a Secondary English Education degree in order to fulfill her dream of becoming a high school English teacher.  Alayna and her parents make their home in Plainview where they are members of South Plains Electric Cooperative and TREWA.

Morgan Whitmire and her family are members of Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative and TREWA where her mother, Kitty Whitmire, is the Director of Finance.  Morgan is currently a sophomore at Seminole State College in Oklahoma.  She will begin classes this fall at Stephen F. Austin State University to complete her degree in Criminal Justice and then attend law school to become a lawyer.
